Research Summary
My research interests include: laws and policies related to preventing
underage drinking, injury and violence prevention, alcohol-impaired driving, traffic
and motor vehicle safety, and public health in general. In addition,
my interests include injury prevention and treatment, trauma systems,
public health systems, disaster preparedness, and ethical issues
related to disaster preparedness and response.
Extensive Research Description
Research focuses on injury and violence prevention interventions, public policy related to injury and alcohol, and public health issues. Current work focuses on suicide prevention in veterans as part of a team based at the Denver, Colorado VA.
