Biography
Dr. Harris is a clinical psychologist specializing in Cardiovascular Behavioral Medicine. She is a patient-oriented researcher whose work is focused on understanding the contribution of psychiatric disorders, stress, and the lived environment to the onset and progression of cardiovascular disease, and developing brief, feasible interventions to improve quality of life and outcomes. She is also a member of the Yale Vascular Medicine Outcomes (VAMOS) research group where she studies shared decision making, risk prediction models, and the mental health burden associated with various vascular disease presentations.
