Research Summary

Dr. Jinlei Li performs the majority of her clinical research in the subspecialty of regional anesthesiology, where she manages the acute and subacute pain for patients after a diverse range of surgical procedures. Specifically, Dr. Li has directed her efforts on optimizing the roles of regional anesthesia in early recovery after surgery (ERAS) with the aims to reduce opioid consumption, lessen length of hospital stay and improve surgical outcome. She has designed and implemented several institutional level protocols and serves as the PI for Yale RCT trial, as well as site PI for multiple international multicenter trials.
