Research Summary

My research focuses on developing and testing innovative, multi-faceted strategies for decreasing the incidence and effects of unintended pregnancy, particularly in marginalized communities. I have pursued this research through examining whether digital health interventions can improve reproductive health knowledge and decision making, analyzing the comparative effectiveness of two methods of female sterilization, investigating the impact of cost on contraceptive provision, and measuring the effect of unintended pregnancy on women’s lives.
