At STEP, early intervention is key
Specialized Treatment for Early Psychosis (STEP) is a multi-disciplinary outpatient clinic at the Connecticut Mental Health Center (CMHC) that seeks to provide comprehensive care for individuals early in the course of a psychotic illness. Director Vinod Srihari, MD and his research team are studying the effectiveness of STEP care against what researchers call "treatment as usual."
