Provider Consultation Service

The STEP Learning Collaborative (STEP-LC) Consultation Service provides expert clinical and implementation consultation to clinicians and multidisciplinary treatment teams working with individuals experiencing early psychosis.

Consultations are led by members of the STEP Hub Team and are designed to support high-quality, evidence-based, and recovery-oriented care across a range of service settings. Common consultation topics include case conceptualization, treatment planning, discussion of clinical options, continuing care, and support for Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) team development and implementation.

The consultation service is open to:

• Individual clinicians seeking consultation on clinical questions
• Multidisciplinary treatment teams providing care for early psychosis
• Programs developing or strengthening CSC or early psychosis services
• Providers seeking support related to implementation, systems issues, or team-based care

Both CSC and non-CSC providers are welcome.

Provider Consult Service
One-on-one consultation for individual providers seeking support with:

• Case conceptualization and diagnostic questions
• Treatment planning and discussion of clinical options
• Engagement challenges with clients or families
• Implementation or workflow questions related to early psychosis care

Multidisciplinary consultation designed for treatment teams working together with individuals experiencing early psychosis.

Team consultations may focus on:

• Shared case conceptualization across disciplines
• Treatment coordination and role clarity
• Team-level clinical questions and shared problem-solving
• CSC model implementation, refinement, or sustainability

Treating teams are encouraged to attend together, though individual clinicians are also welcome. CME credit may be available.

Team-based consultation slots are offered Mondays from 1:00–2:00 PM (ET) via Zoom.
