Effects of Brief Training on the Ability to Regulate Craving

*For cigarette smokers between the ages of 18-60 who would like to quit

Evaluating the benefit of two forms of brief training in regulation of craving: CBT-based (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) regulation training vs MBT-based (Mindfulness Based Treatment) regulation of training vs no training at all.

We are seeking volunteers to participate in a 4-week treatment study. You will be compensated for your time

  • To be eligible, you must smoke 10 or more cigarettes per day
  • You must be willing to have an fMRI and EEG in order to be considered for the study.
