Seventh Annual Global Health Day on March 30

The Seventh Annual Global Health Day, "Medical and Humanitarian Responses During Political Conflict," will take place on March 30.

Sponsored by the Office of Global Health and the Department of Internal Medicine, Global Health Day kicks off with a Medical Grand Rounds lecture, "The War in Syria, the World's Shame: Failures of Early Warning, Humanitarian Protection and Humanitarian Response." The lecture will be delivered by Jennifer Leaning, M.D., director of the Francois Xavier Bagnoud Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard University and FXB Professor of the Practice of Health and Human Rights at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, at 8:30 a.m. in the Fitkin Amphitheater.
