Ron was a licensed psychologist and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine. He had been in private practice as a psychotherapist since 1980. Ron previously worked with the Center for Creative Leadership’s leadership development programs. In this role he provided consultation and coaching to executives, managers and other leaders from a wide range of professional settings. Ron was the consulting psychologist to the Episcopal Church in Connecticut and directed a program of psychological services for the Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ. From 2005 to 2019 he was also a member of the faculty of CREDO, a national program that offers week-long wellness conferences for Episcopal clergy. As the faculty member responsible for psychological health issues, Ron made presentations, led workshops and provided consultation to conference attendees. Ron worked with the Church Pension Group (CPG), CREDO's parent organization, as the psychological health faculty member for CPG's two-day Planning for Wellness conferences for Episcopal clergy. Ron was an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his doctorate at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
