Tami Sullivan, PhD, professor of psychiatry, presented to the Domestic Violence Criminal Justice Response and Enhancement Advisory Council of the Connecticut General Assembly on May 28.
The title of Sullivan’s presentation was, “The Nature of Explicit and Implicit Firearm Threat by Intimate Partners Across the Life Course Among Women Experiencing Intimate Partner Violence.”
Sullivan is director of The Family Violence Research Lab at Yale School of Medicine. She researches factors that affect the wellbeing of victims of intimate partner violence.
