Chyrell Bellamy, PhD, associate professor of psychiatry, received the 2021 Steve Harrington Award from the National Association for Peer Support (NAPS).
The award is given to a person who wholeheartedly exemplifies and upholds NAPS values and mission. The recipient is judged to have gone above and beyond the call of duty in advancing the practice of the National Practice Guidelines for Peer Supporters throughout their career.
Bellamy is joint director of the Yale Program for Recovery and Community Health and director of Peer Support Services and Research at Yale.
