Dr. Londono Tobon is a psychiatrist with clinical and research expertise in the mental health of pregnant women, infants, children, adolescents, and families. She is currently a child psychiatry fellow at the Yale Child Study Center. Dr. Londono Tobon received her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from Stanford University. She completed her psychiatry training at Yale University.
Dr. Londono Tobon's clinical interests include working with children and adults with mental health disorders and their families. She incorporates developmentally and culturally informed approaches in working with patients. Dr. Londono Tobon's research interests include neurodevelopment and understanding the development of psychiatric disorders beginning in pregnancy with the goal of early detection, prevention, and early intervention.
Dr. Londono Tobon is also committed to promoting mental health awareness. She is passionate about advocating for prevention efforts and decreasing the stigma and access to mental health services. She has been working with the media and utilizing social media to communicate these messages.
