Dale Sebastian, MD, assistant professor of psychiatry, will be awarded the 2022 Assembly Resident-Fellow Member (RFM) Mentor Award by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) at its annual meeting May 21 in New Orleans.
The award is presented to APA members who advocate for and mentor future psychiatrists.
Sebastian is associate program director of the Public Psychiatry Fellowship at Yale School of Medicine. He is actively involved in curriculum development, teaching, and supervision within the medical school and Public Psychiatry program.
He has previously been honored by the APA with its 2021 Nancy C.A. Roeske Award for contributions to medical education.
