Bridgett Williamson and Billy Bromage, part of the Citizen’s Community Collaborative team at the Yale Program for Recovery and Community Health (PRCH), took part in a community-building event at Barnard School in West River on March 11.
Williamson and Bromage, along with approximately 60 people of all ages from the West River Community, shared a meal and a lot of fun. They all worked to build a more inclusive neighborhood, where people know one another. This includes intentional outreach to people in recovery who live in West River and nearby neighborhoods.
This is shared work with the West River Neighborhood Services Corporation and the Community Resilience Team.
