Yale University, School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry invites applications for a full-time, academic tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of genetics underlying psychiatric illness.
Applicants must possess an MD and/or PhD, and have at least two years postdoctoral experience or the equivalent. The successful candidate will be poised to build a successful, independent, extramurally funded research program.
Candidates pursuing research relevant to the genetic underpinnings of psychiatric illness will be considered, whether using human samples, novel statistical methods or preclinical models.
Must have a record of excellence, creativity, initiative in research and strong potential to build a vigorous and competitive research program.
