Benjamin Kelmendi, MD

Dr. Kelmendi is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. He has been a key driver of psychedelic studies at Yale. He is as a co-founder of the Yale Psychedelic Science Interest Group, principal investigator (together with Dr. Pittenger) of the first controlled study of psilocybin in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder, and a co-investigator on a major multi-site study of psilocybin in the treatment of depression, sponsored by the Usona Institute. Dr. Kelmendi is on the Board of the Heffter Foundation, a major sponsor of work in psychedelic science.
