Dwyer, Kaye, Sobowale chosen to receive 2019 Lustman Awards

The Yale Department of Psychiatry is pleased to announce that Jennifer Buenzle Dwyer, MD, PhD, Clinical Fellow in the Yale Child Study Center, and Alfred Kaye, MD, PhD, Research Fellow at the National Center for PTSD, are first place co-recipients of the 2019 Seymour Lustman Resident Research Awards in Psychiatry.

Kunmi Sobowale, MD, a fourth-year resident in the Yale Department of Psychiatry, is the runner-up recipient of the award.

The awards, established in honor of the late Professor Seymour L. Lustman and made possible by a generous contribution from the Seymour L. Lustman Memorial Fund, are presented annually to outstanding physician-scientists for excellence in research carried out during their training.

The honorees will receive their awards and present their research at the Department of Psychiatry Grand Rounds on Friday, May 31 at 10:15 am in the CMHC Auditorium, 34 Park St.
