Yale Psychiatry Residents' Association elects new officers

The Yale Psychiatry Residents' Association (PRA) has elected new officers and activity representatives for 2016/2017.

Myra Mathis and Joe Taylor are co-presidents of the association, which serves as a liaison between residents and faculty, and helps to cultivate an educational and fun working environment for trainees.

Other officers for the next year are Jessica Isom, secretary; and Kunmi Sobowale, treasurer.

Graduate Education Committee representatives are Natalie Lastra (PGY-1 and 2), Chad Lane (PGY-3), and Youngsun Cho (PGY-4).

Representatives to the Graduate Medical Education Committee are Jose Flores (PGY-1), Nkemka Esiobu (PGY-2), Luming Li (PGY-3), and Ish Bhalla (PGY-4).

Members of the Cinema and Psychiatry Committee are Joao Paolo De Aquino, Amanda Sun, Alicia Londono, Nikhil Gupta, and Emma Lo.

Aaron Alexander-Bloch, Kristin Budde, Daniel Barron, and Rachel Katz are the Wine and Cheese Coordinators, and Joe Gallego, Jessica Isom, Lauren Schmidt, and Chad Lane comprise the Orientation Committee.

Will Acosta and Amanda Sun are the Social Chairs, Nikhil Gupta and Daniel Barron comprise the Information Technology Committee, and Francesco Peluso and Ayana Jordan coordinate the PGY-1 Round Table.
