The Consultation Center recently presented awards for outstanding contributions that support its mission to promote health and wellness, prevent mental health and substance abuse problems, and enhance equity and social justice.
Each year, The Consultation Center selects exemplary local leaders who have demonstrated hard work, dedication, and a deep commitment to building a stronger community.
The Award for Individual Excellence was presented to Tomas Reyes, Jr., Chief of Staff, Office of the Mayor, City of New Haven, in recognition of his career of outstanding public service for the people of New Haven.
The Award for Organizational Excellence was presented to Clifford Beers Clinic and its Chief Executive Officer, Alice M. Forrester, in recognition of the organization’s more than 100 years of outstanding service to the Greater New Haven community, and for innovative vision and leadership to serve those most vulnerable.
The awards were presented on May 19 by Jack Tebes, Executive Director of The Consultation Center.
