Tobias Wasser, MD, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, will join the editorial board of the Psychiatric Annals journal.

As a member of the editorial board, Wasser will evaluate articles submitted to the journal; participate in development of the journal by soliciting manuscripts for review; serve as guest editor, or solicit guest editors, for topical-based CME articles; attend annual editorial board meetings; and suggest colleagues to review articles.

For more than 50 years, Psychiatric Annals has provided psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, and medical professionals with an interest in psychiatry with information required for optimal patient care. The journal provides practitioners with physician-reviewed single-topic articles for CME credit and peer-reviewed research and case reports.

Wasser completed his psychiatry training at Yale, starting with the psychiatry residency program and subsequently completing fellowships in both forensic and public psychiatry. In addition to his role as Associate Professor of Psychiatry, he holds faculty appointments in both the Public Psychiatry and Law and Psychiatry Divisions. He is Interim Deputy Program Director for the Yale Psychiatry Residency Program and works clinically and administratively as the Chief Medical Officer of Whiting Forensic Hospital, Connecticut's only state-operated forensic hospital.
