npj Mental Health Research, founded and edited by Jack Tsai, PhD, professor adjunct of psychiatry, has received its first impact factor (9.1), placing it among the top 10 journals in psychiatry.
Tsai celebrated the milestone by writing an editorial in the journal. The editorial is titled, “From Impact Factor to Human Factor: The Rise of Humanness in the Age of Intelligent Machines.”
The journal was founded about four years ago, and since its launch, over 1 million articles have been downloaded.
The journal’s associate editors are Yale School of Medicine faculty members Elizabeth Connors, PhD, associate professor of psychiatry, and Sarah Lichenstein, PhD, assistant professor of psychiatry.
