The professionalism and leadership development team within the Office of Academic & Professional Development (OAPD) will hold a grand rounds session on Wednesday, June 25, at noon, via Zoom. “Leading with Resiliency and Creativity in Challenging Times” will explore how to best support yourself and your team members during challenging times. While open to YSM faculty, staff, and students, registration is required.

Leading with Resiliency and Creativity in Challenging Times

Presented by Tara Mohr, MBA, expert on leadership and well-being, as well as an author, educator, and certified coach.

In times of uncertainty and change, how do we continue leading from the wisest and most generative part of ourselves? During this inspiring and practical session, you will learn to use a guiding framework to help access your resiliency and creativity in challenging times and explore powerful practices to use every day to support yourself and your team members.

At the conclusion of the session, participants will have gained:

  1. A framework for accessing their resiliency and creativity
  2. Powerful practices for returning to steadiness and clarity, even in challenging times
  3. Ways to better understand and manage stress in the workplace

Tara Mohr, MBA, is an expert on leadership and well-being, as well as an author, educator and certified coach. Her book, Playing Big: Practical Wisdom for Women Who Want to Speak Up, Create, and Lead, was named a Best Book of the Year by Apple’s iBooks. She is the creator of the global Playing Big leadership program, and Playing Big Facilitators Training for coaches, mentors and managers who support others in their personal and professional growth. Tara received a bachelor’s degree in english literature from Yale University in 2000 and holds an MBA from Stanford University.
