Three junior faculty members in the Yale Department of Psychiatry have received YCCI Scholar Awards to help fund their research work.

Miraj Desai, PhD, Associate Research Scientist in Psychiatry; Ayana Jordan, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry; and Rajiv Radhakrishnan, MD, Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry, were honored by the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI), which supports and facilitates clinical and translational research and training at the medical school.

The awards provide salary and/or research funds to junior faculty who are strongly committed to careers in clinical research, community-based research, or translational research. The primary aim of the awards is to prepare grant recipients for successful independent research careers.
