Klee Honored With American Psychological Association State Leadership Award

Anne Klee, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, has been awarded the American Psychological Association State Leadership Award.

The national award was presented March 7 at the association’s Practice Leadership Conference. It is given annually to one psychologist who has shown outstanding service to states, provinces, or territories as an officer, committee or task force chair, staff person, or member in the state, provincial, or territorial psychological association.

Klee is Past President of the Connecticut Psychological Association, whose members work to enhance the professional lives of psychologists in Connecticut and to monitor, communicate, and advocate for crucial issues that directly affect the profession.

Klee works at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System in West Haven. She develops quality, recovery-oriented programs for people with serious mental illness and trains and supports the work of peer specialists.
