Yale Psychiatry Accepting Submissions for Lustman Resident Research Award

The Yale Department of Psychiatry is accepting submissions from trainees for the annual Seymour Lustman, MD, PhD Resident Research Award.

The Lustman Award is the highest award for resident research achievement given by the Yale Department of Psychiatry. The recipient of the award receives a cash prize and makes a Grand Rounds presentation to the Department of Psychiatry, which this year will be on Friday, May 29.

Recipients are listed on a plaque that hangs outside the auditorium at the Connecticut Mental Health Center. Psychiatry residents and fellows (MD or MD/PhD) at the PGY-6 level or earlier are eligible to apply.

The submission deadline is Friday, May 15, 2020.

Submission materials must include (please submit as a single collated file):

1. A copy of the paper that would be presented during Grand Rounds.

2. A copy of the candidate’s CV.

3. A letter of support from the candidate's research mentor.

Materials should be submitted in electronic format (i.e., collated and .pdf) to Jessica Costeines (jessica.costeines@yale.edu). Submissions will be reviewed by the Lustman Awards’ Committee and honoree(s) will be notified no later than Friday, May 22.
