Yale Global Initiative on Climate Change and Public Health Ethics: "Rediscovering Freedom and Rights in a Climate Changed World"

Join Mr. Bruce Jennings, Adjunct Associate Professor in Health Policy at Vanderbilt University’s Center for Biomedical Ethics and Society, for "Rediscovering Freedom and Rights in a Climate Changed World." Registration is required.

In addition to his appointments at Vanderbilt, Mr. Jennings is also Senior Advisor and Fellow at The Hastings Center, where he served from 1991 through 1999 as Executive Director. From 2003-2009, he served as member and Chair of the Ethics Advisory Committee at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In 2020 he received a Distinguished Career Award from the American Public Health Association for his work in public health ethics. A political scientist by training, Mr. Jennings has written and edited twenty-nine books and has published numerous articles on bioethics and public policy issues. His research interests are interdisciplinary, spanning work in ethics and political theory in relation to policy, health, and environmental issues.
