Child Study Center: Childhood adversity and mental health: Identifying opportunities to reduce risk and promote resilience across the life course
In this talk, Dr. Dunn will summarize her research team’s work to identify sensitive periods in development and the role of epigenetics in the biological embedding of childhood adversity. She will also discuss her work using children’s baby teeth as a new biomarker to record the occurrence and timing of early life stress more objectively.
