Finding Solutions to the Opioid Crisis: Emergency Department-based Treatment and Harm Reduction Interventions for Opioid Use Disorder

The Yale Program in Addiction Medicine welcomes Dr. Donald Stader III (Colorado Naloxone Project) and Dr. Edouard Coupet Jr. (Yale Emergency Medicine) to discuss Emergency Department-based interventions to treat and reduce harms of Opioid Use Disorder, including overdose education and naloxone distribution (OEND) as well as treatment initiation with buprenorphine.
