Title: Impacts of Major Crises on Addiction Care: Disruption, Resilience, and the ‘New Normal’


Learning Objectives:


  1. Explore how addiction care systems at all levels (patients and providers, medical facilities, and national and international institutions) cope and adapt to crises.
  2. Discuss empirical evidence that illuminates perspectives of different addiction care stakeholders as they navigate the ‘new normal’.
  3. Recognize the extent to which emergent solutions for addiction care during a crisis are sustainable over time and innovations they can set in motion.

    Addiction Medicine Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM
