The Yale Program in Addiction Medicine is pleased to welcome Linda Cottler, PhD, MPH, and Joseph Palamar, MPH, PhD, as guest speakers for Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds on July 14, 2026.

Title: An Overview of the National Drug Early Warning System (NDEWS) and Current Drug Threats


Learning Objectives:

  1. To describe the goals and objectives of the national drug early warning system.
  2. To describe the methods used and to discuss ways to integrate data from multiple sources to better understand signals and trends of use.
  3. To identify the most recent data available on new drug threats with a particular focus on fentanyl adulterants.

    Addiction Medicine Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM
