Being Well at Yale Hosts: "Drop-in Meditation"
Discover the benefits of meditation in a casual group environment. During the afternoon meditation, practitioners find a comfortable seat, usually in a chair. Guidance is provided as needed. Sessions are led by Danielle Casioppo, Health Educator and certified yoga teacher for Being Well at Yale. She is available to answer questions before and after meditation as well.
Beginners welcome! No experience necessary, no equipment needed. No sign-up required! Just drop-in. If you can’t be there from start to finish, come anyway! Just slip in or out as quietly as possible. Open to all Yale faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
The sessions are held in L-300, The Jane Coffin Childs Memorial Fund Board Room. Can be accessed from the 2nd or 3rd floor. From the 2nd floor, follow signs for the Beaumont Room, then look for JCCMFB sign on left near stairs up. Or take the C wing elevator to third floor, go to right and follow hall, look for a women's restroom on the right and signs for JCCBR. Go up the three wooden stairs.
