Yale Psychiatry Mental Health Services/Policy Discussion Group

Mission and Goals

Now more than ever, our patients’ access to equitable and affordable healthcare is under threat. As clinicians, we are uniquely positioned to advocate for our patients, both in the clinical setting, as well as within the larger healthcare system.

The Yale Psychiatry Mental Health Services/Policy Discussion Group (MHSP) is a multi-disciplinary coalition of trainees and faculty committed to learning about policies impacting psychiatric practice, identifying challenges within the current healthcare system, and implementing solutions to improve mental healthcare by discussing current events, inviting guest lecturers, and hosting engaging workshops.
