Elizabeth Connors, PhD

Elizabeth H. Connors, PhD, joined the TCC faculty in January 2019. She has 16 years’ experience in children’s mental health, and her work focuses on how to improve access to high quality mental health services for youth and their families. Elizabeth partners with health and mental health providers, supervisors, and leaders in schools, community health and mental health organizations to 1) increase capacity; 2) improve system performance; and 3) identify, adopt, implement and sustain evidence-based practices. She has specialized expertise in data-driven decision making, outcomes monitoring, mental health screening and assessment, school-community-family partnerships, and using rapid-cycle continuous quality improvement methods and implementation science to accelerate systems change. Elizabeth received her BA in Psychology from Quinnipiac University and PhD in Clinical, Community and Child Psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Elizabeth is a licensed clinical psychologist; her program evaluation, quality improvement consultation and research is informed by 10 years’ experience as a mental health clinician and clinical supervisor in Baltimore City before she joined the team at TCC.
