Amy Griffin, MA, is the Director of Strategy and Operations for YaleEVAL. She also directs TCC’s Health Evaluation Initiatives, where she provides evaluation consultation, strategic planning, and facilitation to CDC-funded health initiatives in partnership with the Connecticut Department of Public Health. Since joining TCC in 2006, she has designed and led evaluations of health and human service programs across a variety of sectors including public health, education, youth development, behavioral health, and child welfare. Amy brings more than 20 years of experience providing consultation on the development and implementation of program evaluations to nonprofit agencies, coalitions, foundations, and local and state departments. She partners with her clients to actively engage them in the evaluation process to build evaluation capacity that is sustainable beyond the partnership. Amy trains nonprofit and state-level organizations in evaluation principles, techniques, and design, and frequents as an invited guest speaker at universities on evaluation, consultation, and group facilitation. She has been a member of the American Evaluation Association since 1998 and presents at state and national conferences on topics related to evaluation. Amy holds a master’s degree in Communications and has advanced training in Family and Child Ecology and nonprofit management.
