John Krystal, MD, chair of the Yale Department of Psychiatry, was the first guest at the Accountability, Respect, Community, and Humanity (ARCH) Leadership Pathway Meet and Greet Series.
Krystal spoke January 8 about his leadership journey and answered questions from the audience. He was interviewed by Oscar Rojas Perez, PhD, assistant professor of psychiatry.
The goal of the speaker series is to promote leadership awareness within the Yale Department of Psychiatry, showcase department leadership, and offer guidance for anyone seeking mentorship or career development.
The second event will be February 5 at The Anlyan Center auditorium. Speakers will include Joy Kaufman, PhD, deputy chair for career development; Kirsten Wilkins, MD, interim deputy chair for education; and John Cahill, MD, residency program director. The talk will begin at 4:30 pm. All faculty, trainees, and staff are invited to attend.
