Zhe Sun

Zhe Sun recently joined Professor Yize Zhao’s laboratory in the Department of Biostatistics as a Postdoctoral Associate. Under the supervision of Professor Kun Chen, she completed her Ph.D. in Statistics at the University of Connecticut in 2021. Her research interests include dimension reduction and feature selection, longitudinal/functional data analysis, network analysis (imaging, evolution), and statistical computing and optimization. Jointly mentored by Drs. Yize Zhao and Francesc Fernandez-Albert under the Yale-BI Fellowship, Zhe will focus on identifying brain functional subnetworks and associated genetic vulnerabilities with symptomatically related mental disorders.
