Biography
Warda Maqsood is an internationally trained internal medicine resident, currently in her third year of residency at Yale Waterbury Internal Medicine residency program. Her passion is clinical medicine with emphasis in clinical reasoning and practice. She obtained her medical degree from Kiing Edward Medical University, Pakistan, and later proceeded to the US to pursue post graduate training in internal medicine. Post residency she anticipates starting a fellowship in Rheumatology after completing a year as Chief resident in her current program.
Outside medicine, she is passionate about traveling, and meeting people from different cultures. She has a special interest in the education of the female child.
She can often be found enjoying time off with her family and catching up on a good TV series.
