Sophia Zhuang


Sophia Zhuang is an undergraduate student in Yale College majoring in the History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health as well as Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. She is currently a part of Dr. Ashley Hagaman's Innovation Lab for Qualitative Methods and Global Health on a project involving suicide prevention in Nepal. Sophia's work focuses on how patient suicide affects health staff occupational confidence and personal well-being. She is interested in learning more about global public health and how to culturally adapt services to different communities; Sophia hopes to apply this research and knowledge to a future career in medicine.
