Samantha Dean is a first year biostatistics PhD student. She is interested in statistical methods for infectious disease epidemiology and stochastic processes. She is currently a research assistant in Professor Forrest Crawford's lab. Previously, she worked as a Postbac IRTA fellow in the Epidemiology Unit at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
