Biography

Rachel Johnson-DeRycke is an Associate Director, Quality Measurement Programs at CORE. She is an experienced outcomes researcher having spent 9 years leading and directing multi-disciplinary teams. She supervises quality measure development, reevaluation, implementation, rulemaking, and stakeholder engagement projects. She has robust expertise in stakeholder engagement, particularly in engaging patients, family caregivers, and patient advocates in quality measure development. She also has extensive experience supporting the federal regulatory process and the development of scientifically sound public health policy in healthcare quality, food safety, and biodefense. Ms. Johnson-DeRycke holds a BS in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut and a MPH in Environmental and Occupational Health from Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health. She is also Certified in Public Health (CPH) by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
