I am very excited to be part of the Bioinformatics Support Group at the Yale Cushing/Whitney Medical Library as their Simbonis Bioinformatics Fellow. I have more than 10 years of experience as a biomedical researcher, and while working on my PhD, I developed a passion for Bioinformatic Analysis. Even though my training was purely in the biological sciences, I taught myself coding and scripting to analyze large, Next Generation Sequencing datasets to advance my research. Due to my unique "damp lab" experience (expertise in both bench-side techniques and in-silico data analyses) I have a holistic approach towards data analysis. When you come to us for Bioinformatic Analysis Support, we help you make sense of your data within the framework of your biological question, so that you can take your research story one step closer to publication.
