Biography

Michael Cocchiola (he, him, his) is a Research Associate III at Yale’s Center for Outcomes Research & Evaluation, and an aspiring changemaker in the fields of health, healthcare, and public health. Mike previously served as an Associate Program Officer at the National Academy of Medicine’s Leadership Consortium, where he coordinated collaborative research and engagement activities to facilitate the uptake of best practices for health system effectiveness, efficiency, equity, and continuous learning. At the NAM and at prior positions, his work has centered on using innovative financial, communication, and programmatic levers to empower the interventions that are most valuable to individual and population health and well-being.

Mike received his master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Health from the University of Connecticut and is a lifelong resident of the Naugatuck River Valley. He loves music, food, and any time spent outside – especially when joined by family, friends, and dogs.
