Kristina Karaivanov

Kristina Karaivanov is the Chief of Staff for the Anesthesiology Department at Yale New Haven Hospital. Karaivanov received her BA in English from Barnard College at Columbia University and her MA in English Education from Columbia University's Teachers College. She worked in Advertising at a boutique agency in New York and at Martha Stewart Omnimedia with a focus on Consumer Insights before receiving her teaching degree. She taught Advanced Placement Language and Composition at a high school in New York, where she received tenure in 2016 for her work. Karaivanov went on to become a Qualitative Researcher at a Market Research firm in Branford, CT where she programmed surveys and conducted interviews to screen candidates for research projects conducted by Google, Facebook, Disney, and Nickelodeon.
