Biography
Julia Grimalli is the client relations coordinator at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. She is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating conferences and subscription offerings. She also supports the Priority Districts Initiative and monitors both the progress of each funding project as well as prospective schools that will receive RULER through funding.
Julia previously served as a research aide for The Consultation Center in the Department of Psychiatry. Through the Yale Bridgeport Gear Up Partnership, she coordinated programs, events, and tutoring sessions, and facilitated the MAAX (Maximizing Adolescent Academic eXcellence) project – a psychoeducation curriculum. Julia holds a master’s degree in sociology from Southern Connecticut State University, where she was awarded a Graduate Research Fellowship to explore the perception of educational attainment in underrepresented college students.
