Jennifer Picagli

Jen Picagli, APRN, works primarily in vascular neurology on the New Haven campuses. She returned to Yale-New Haven Health in 2018 after earning her MSN at Yale and working in short- and long-term care in the community. As such, she is interested in the continuity of care of people with neurologic conditions from onset and presentation in the Emergency Department to inpatient care to rehabilitation and/or return home.

She has worked with other members of the Vascular Neurology team at Yale and YNHH on pre-hospital stroke scales, tobacco use, and nursing education. Her research interests include socioeconomic influence on health behaviors, patient education, and high-yield testing for cryptogenic stroke. She is also involved in emergency preparedness in the community.
