Biography
Dr. Kai Zhang obtained his Ph.D at the Institute of Biophysics (IBP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2013 and did his postdoctoral research at MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology from 2014 to 2018. He started his appointment as an assistant professor at the MB&B department in January 2019. Dr. Zhang’s research at Yale University focuses on the mechanisms of most challenging protein dynamics in the cellular context and methodology development of cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) and tomography (cryo-ET).
