Glenda was born in Texas but was raised in El Progreso, Honduras. She attended the School of Medicine at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras in Tegucigalpa. She did her internal medicine residency and chief residency at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut. She completed fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care at University of Vermont in Burlington. Glenda is very excited to join Yale University to complete Sleep Medicine fellowship as some of her interests are sleep disordered breathing and the relationship between pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders.
She loves to travel and hiking with her husband Ryan and toy poodle Mia. They are thrilled to move back to Connecticut and be near family and friends.
