Fahad Ahmed is a Post-doctoral Associate and Lab Manager in Rimm Lab, Department of Pathology at Yale School of Medicine. He completed an MD at University of Karachi followed by a Internship at Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi. He is an ECFMG Certified Physician. Dr. Ahmed has more then 9 years of research experience (United States and Pakistan) combined with similar clinical experience in Pakistan. His current work at Rimm Lab focuses on the use of quantitative assessment of clinical markers on Yale Tissue Micro Arrays (YTMA) in Breast, Lung, Head and Neck and Skin Cancers. His other activities include multi-platform digital pathology image analysis. Dr. Ahmed is also responsible of developing Control YTMAs using cell-lines by culturing cells.
He is also a manager for Rimm Lab and takes care of ordering, supplies, maintenance of equipment and ensure proper communication between lab members and outside companies and vendors
