Elizabeth White

Lizzie is a PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases. As a member of Dr. Luke Davis's lab, her dissertation research focuses on tuberculosis (TB) in Uganda. Specifically, she is interested in understanding how patient and health system characteristics influence the quality of TB care and quantifying the impact of interventions on patient outcomes. Prior to graduate school, she was a research assistant at Brigham and Women's Hospital where she worked on public health emergency preparedness projects. She also served as an AmeriCorps member in Jacksonville, Florida doing health education and community outreach.
