Dorothy Stubbe MD

Dr. Stubbe received her medical degree from the University of Arizona School of Medicine and her psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry residency training from the Yale University School of Medicine. She is Associate Professor and Program Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Albert J. Solnit Integrated psychiatry/ child and adolescent psychiatry/ research residency training programs at the Yale Child Study Center. She is the Associate Medical Director of the Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital Children’s Psychiatric Inpatient Service. Nationally, she is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Committee on Training and Education; the American Association of Directors of Psychiatry Residency Training Executive Council; a member of the American College of Psychiatrists PRITE Editorial Board; and a member of the American College of Graduate Medical Education Psychiatry Residency Review Committee; and chair of the Group for Advancement of Psychiatry Child Psychiatry Committee. Interests include innovation in education and training; assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with complex psychiatric disorders; and working in school settings to optimize the mental health of students.
